PSP rotary dryers work using the principle of direct heat transfer and are the most widespread drying machines. Their design includes a loading chamber, rotating cylindrical tube with special internal blades/fins (depending on processed materials) transporting the materials and an unloading chamber.

It is a complex of drying equipment on the basis of the furnace PSP-820/7-5 with a capacity of up to 5 t/h. It is equipped with a KP type burner and an aspiration system on the basis of the cyclone TZN-15-500х2UP.

Rotary dryer PSP-1220/8-10

It is a complex of drying equipment that includes a loading hopper, a chain elevator, a burner and an aspiration system. Its rotating tube with a diameter of 1.2 m and a length of 8 m provides its capacity of up to 12 t/h (of dry material).

Drying machine with a working cone: SGK-37

Drying machine with a working cone (SGK-37) is intended for drying materials in the temperature range up to 200 0С, by the contact method of heat transfer (by blowing the mixed air heated by the burner and hot air from the top chamber).

Drying furnace PSK 630/5100

Indirect heat transfer rotary dryer for drying or roasting various materials

Exhaust gases of this furnace are relatively ecologically friendly products, therefore, they can be used, for example, for heating purposes. The machine can also be used jointly with air drying crushers.

Drying furnace PSK 630/10P

Indirect heat transfer rotary dryer (its flame does not contact processed materials). Its main advantage is preheating materials before roasting them (using the same heat carrier).

The design of rotary dryers

The main working component of a rotary dryer (of PSK type) is its rotating tube roasting processed materials. The tube is equipped with a special system to feed the material: a loading chamber, from which all by-products (moisture, dust, etc.) are removed. Material is unloaded from an unloading hopper or through an open end of the rotating tube (depending on requirements). Material is to be fed into the furnace uniformly (it is possible to apply disk feeders for this purpose).

The principle of operation of rotary dryers

Materials are dried and roasted when there are transported by a rotary dryer’s rotating tube to its unloading chamber. Heating devices are located outside the tube. Thus, raw materials do not contact products of burning.

After processing, the materials pass through an unloading hole in the tube. Final products get into a special container or a transporting system.

Materials are dried and roasted inside a heat resistant rotating tube heated by a set of nozzles. The nozzles are located at edges of a furnace burner. At fuel burning hot air (moving to the center of the burner) heats the rest surface of the tube. The leaving the rotary dryer heat carrier can be exhausted without any aspiration systems (implying hot air purification). This heat carrier can be used for other purposes (for example, heating).

Due to a certain inclination of the tube and its rotation, the processed material is transported to its unloading end.
