Two rotor shredder SHD-430 is intended for shredding paper, wood, cardboard, packaging, plastic materials, etc. Shredding is carried by two rotors (with teeth) rotating towards each other. Loaded raw materials are captured by rotor teeth and crushed. The final product particle size is determined by the gap between the shredding rotors.
The principle of operation of the single rotor shredder
A source material falling into a loading hopper of the single rotor shredder, is pressed by a special hydraulic mechanism to a shredding rotor, and the rotor crushes the material by teeth. In the lower part of the crushing chamber there is a plate with knifes. The plate does not allow the material to wrap around the rotor. Very important components of the shredder are its control panel and automation system. The automation system switches the shredder into the mode of reverse rotation when the rotor is overloaded. Such operations are possible at strong material compaction, and the reverse rotor rotation decreases excessive stresses in the material. In addition, the automation system controls the motion of the mentioned hydraulic pressing mechanism. The pressing plate moves back when the rotor is overloaded.
The principle of operation of the two rotor shredder
A source material is loaded into a loading hopper of the shredder and, under its own weight, moves into a zone of rotation of two disk rotors. The rotors crush the material using impact and abrasion forces. The crushed material pours through gaps between rotor disks into an unloading device.
The rotor disks are self-cleaning from the material in a central zone of a grinding chamber, and also on special plates of a grate and reflectors.
Materials are loaded into the shredder using a conveyor belt or other transport devices (through a loading window of the shredder loading hopper).

The industrial shredder is used for processing recyclable materials. The most common shredded materials with the use of the machine are fibrous, as well as low dimensions and non-bulk materials, such as: paper, wood, polymers, boards and microcircuits, aluminum cans and other waste, textile materials, etc.
